The project was founded by Maruko Hirae in 2022. Based in Tokyo.
We believe fashion can be more sweet for us and our future, and believe in a sweeter fashion cycle: upcycle, fair trade, and one-of-a-kind pieces handmade with love. And we think it's important to collaborate with each other. Through collaboration with creations, designers, and friends, you might discover the beauty of everyday life hidden right beside you.

2019年、イタリア・ミラノでGiuditta Tanziにより設立されたgarbage core。「garbage＝ごみ」というワードをもつ名の通り、素材のアップサイクルによって新しい服を生み出すプロジェクトです。

自分たちのことを「熟練のフリーマーケット業者、宝探しの達人」だと考えています。素材はイタリアで集めた古着、デッドストック生地などから厳選し、合成繊維よりも天然繊維を優先的に使用しています。


感情的な服を生み出すことを信条としていて、それは、その服そのものと、過去と現在でそれを着た人・作った人の「魂」を宿したまま、服に第二の人生とチャンスを与えるものです。

傷、シミ、穴などの欠陥は、その服の「魂」としてそのまま残されていることがあります。その欠陥の中から、過去の生活の痕跡を見出しています。
