keisuke kandaの20周年を記念する手づくりの展示会が、次の月曜日まで神楽坂で開催中です。
なかなかお目にかかれない、これまでのアーカイブコレクションから、貴重な服や什器、資料が大量に展示されています。建物まるごと2階分、一見やわらかくて儚げな色やモチーフが散りばめられた空間の中には、固定概念をぶち壊すパンクなデザインやストーリーの数々が。米袋で作ったドレスに、Tシャツで作ったビキニ、きたなめな手刷り、神田さんとのご縁から生まれていくのであろうコラボレーションの数々や、あつくるしいほど気持ちが籠ったコピーなどなど。20年の間にあったさまざまな記憶が記録されています。
Lamp harajukuとの懐かしのコラボレーションの数々も。やっぱりかわいいな、、と、あんまり昔のことを羨ましがりたくはないとは思いつつ、こんなかわいい店のこんなかわいいウィンドウインスタレーション、素敵な時代があったものだと、結局羨ましくなったりもしました。写真で記録を残してくれていたことにも感謝です。学生時代に想い続けていた記憶があるコートとサンプル品販売のラックで再会したので、連れて帰りました。
「もう体験出来るはずのない、あのバンドのあの日のライブ」を、擬似体験できるような展覧会。
ブランドのことをよく知る方も、そうでない方も、着るも着ないも関係ない面白さでお楽しみいただけそうなボリューミーな内容です。ぜひ足を運んでみてください。
