The future is in our hands
because we can choose everything what we love.

One day I found a flower on a road. The flower looked fine, but fell out from a branch. Maybe a few days later, the flower would die. I thought so. I picked the flower and pressed her in my favorite book. And waited. A few weeks later, when I saw her again, the flower became the pressed flower. My hands made another future of the flower. The flower started another future. I don’t know the emotion in the flower, but it’s so beautiful. The pressed flower looked like she was changed her clothes. Flower and pressed flower. Both styles look so beautiful. Even if the flower had kept hold on to a branch, she would still be beautiful. But she fell out, I picked her, she changed clothes, and she started another future. Sometimes a pressed flower has broken, but I love such a punk girl too.

I thought everything is ever changing and everything flows.

We’ll never know who such a punk girl will be. We’ll never know which way to flow. Either way there is something beautiful.

We can choose how we change, we can’t choose where we flow. But we can choose everything what we love, so the future is in our hands.

^{ある日、私は道に落ちている花を見つけました。

その花はすごく元気そうに見えましたが

枝から落ちてしまっていました。

きっと数日後この花は死んでしまうだろう。そう思いました。

私はその花を拾ってお気に入りの本に挟んで待ちました。

数週間後、再会した時、花は押し花になっていました。

私の手は花の新しい未来を創り

花は新しい未来を始めました。

花の感情はわかりませんが、すごく美しい姿です。

押し花はまるで服を着替えたように姿を変えました。

花と押し花。

どちらの姿もとても美しく、どちらの姿も愛おしく思います。

もし枝に掴まったままだったとしても、美しかったと思います。

でも花は落っこちて、私に拾われ、

服を着替えて、新しい未来を始めました。

たまに本の中で折れたり割れてしまう押し花をみつけますが

私はそんなパンクガールの姿も愛おしく思います。

全てのものは常に変わり続けていて、移ろいゆくと思います。

わたしたちは未来で

誰がパンクガールになるのかを知ることができないし

移ろいゆく先どこにたどり着くか知ることはできません。

どちらにせよ、そこにはきっと

なにかしらの美しさがあるはずです。

わたしたちはどう変わるかを選ぶことが出来ますが

どこに辿り着くかは選ぶことができません。

でも、わたしたちは

何を愛するか

すべてを自分で選ぶことができます。

だから未来はわたしたちの手の中にあります。}
